We are a group of young people who organize expeditions across the globe to work with socially, mentally and physically disadvantaged children. By involving these children in games of productive developmental sports and activities, we aim to build their confidence through the universal language of play, foster international understanding through the exchange of games, and leave a lasting legacy by the donation of sports equipment and the training of local leaders.
Expedition 2010
Eastern Europe
World at Play is planning a new expedition! Due to launch on in 2010 the expedition will be revisiting the Southern and Eastern Europe, working in many of the same centers as the previous two expeditions worked with, as well as new centers.
World at Play 2010 will build on the great work done by the previous two expeditions. We will play more games and more sports with more children in more centers across the region, spreading the international language of play even further! Through this sustained investment we will continue to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with the countries and the children that we visit.
World at Play is looking for motivated, imaginative people who believe in the power of play to join our team.
